Security Officer

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Patrol assigned areas on foot, or in a motor vehicle as required by the client site.
Report all safety violations, irregularities, suspicious activity, and emergencies to their site supervisor.
Maintain security equipment.
Maintain a log book with details of patrol.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Must be at least 18 years of age and hold U.S. citizenship.
Reliable transportation.
No felonies or crimes of dishonesty.
Military or law enforcement background is preferred.
Know and understand IDs and which ones are real and fake.
Be available on call or part-time basis.
Be available to attend staff meetings/briefings.
Understand and be willing to learn about over serving.
Above average communication skills.
Must present a friendly, positive, professional image.
Must possess excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Must have the ability to solve problems and de-escalate situations in a non-confrontational manner.

Event Security

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Protect company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment.
Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances.
Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property.
Apprehend criminals and evict violators.
Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences.
Report in detail any suspicious incidents.
Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates.
Watch alarm systems or video cameras and operate detecting/emergency equipment
